• Treatment plan: Prosthetic options-estimation of ridge width: Provisional planning.
• Impression techniques: Implant level impression (transfer –pickup)-abutment level
impression.
• Prosthodontic procedures: Emergence profile- Abutment selection-cement retained
prosthesis-screw retained prosthesis-restoration of single tooth implant- Multiple tooth
restoration-combined natural tooth/implant-screw loosening problems.
• Treatment of edentulous ridge: diagnosis-treatment plan-fixed full arch bridge
construction.
• Failures, complications, and maintenance: biomechanical failure, complications after
prosthesis placement, maintenance for full arch fixed prosthesis-home hygiene. -Know and understand the concept of implant-overdenture:
• Gaining familiarity with the various techniques used in implant overdenture.
• Clinical cases involving prosthetic steps using bar and locator attachments overdenture.
• The most common short- and long-term issues associated with implant overdentures.
